cooked smoked Polish sausage, bratwurst, or kielbasa, sliced
hot cooked rice
Bottled hot pepper sauce
- In a large saucepan combine undrained peas, sausage and onion. Bring mixture to boiling. Reduce heat and simmer, covered, for 20 to 25 minutes or until onion is tender, stirring occasionally.
- To serve, spoon black-eyed peas over rice. Pass bottled hot pepper sauce.
