Flour Mill Pizzeria

Editor's Review
No matter what the season, it’s nice to grab a table in the back of Flour Mill Pizzeria and gaze at the Mississippi. A fireplace takes the chill off winter eagle watching, and in summer visitors spread onto the deck and watch the river flow by.
You can design a stone-baked pizza with white garlic sauce, marinara, red sauce or pesto, or try one of their specialty combinations. The T-Rex boasts six meats; Chicken Little combines chicken, artichokes, bacon, tomatoes and feta. Fennel, Fig and the Pig tops a white sauce with Prosciutto ham, tomatoes, fennel and figs. They also serve sandwiches, such as a gyro or beefsteak sub, along with five salads, ravioli and soup of the day. Desserts include Black Midnight Cake and apple pie.
The restaurant extends past the register and through a long storefront to seating in the back. There, it merges with Twain’s Wheelhouse Tavern, which serves pastas, pecan-crusted catfish, pot roast and potpie. Both Twain’s and Flour Mill Pizzeria flow into Chocolate Escape, which serves homemade turtles and ice cream—a sweet finish to any meal.
