The ambience is a unique mix—pious artifacts, religious statues and artwork combined with a cozy, romantic candlelit atmosphere. Some rooms are spacious and equipped for large parties, others are more quaint and private. One of the most intimate spaces is the wine cellar that is available for parties of two.
This isn’t the type of restaurant you’d frequent on a regular basis, unless your pocket book is deep, but more a special-occasion dining destination. Appetizers start at $5.95 for lobster bisque and $6.95 for escargot, and dinners can cost as much as $50.95 for a massive seafood platter that includes crab, lobster, frog legs, shrimp, salmon and clams. The mouthwatering prime rib is a good value at $25.95 for the king cut, and every meal comes with a vegetable of the day, choice of potato, bread and access to a well-stocked salad bar.
