This lovely, small bakery and cafe sits at the end of a strip mall. With its lace curtains and French photos and prints on the walls, it has a real European feel—simple yet elegant. (The owner is from Vichy, France.) French pastries, tarts, cheesecake, éclairs and Napoleons fill two large display cases. Lunch choices include soups, salads, sandwiches and quiche. Brioche, cookies, cakes and homemade ice cream (in season) are also available. We order coffee and an almond croissant; the croissant is good, although a little less flaky and more dense than we would have liked. The pleasant atmosphere and wide variety of food make this a worthwhile stop.
