Dozens of sculptures from all over the world dot this lush 105-acre park in suburban St. Louis.
Set in a quiet area of suburban St. Louis, Laumeier Sculpture Park captures imaginations with a wide variety of sculptures from all over the world. Be sure to grab a free map before exploring the lush 105-acre park and its trails. Maps include helpful drawings of the sculptures so you'll know what you're looking at. Some of our favorite sculptures include a large fiberglass eye aptly named "Eye" by American-born Tony Tasset and the unsuspecting "Man with Briefcase" located near the head of the wooded nature trail. Children will especially love the playful and colorful sculptures in the designated children's sculpture garden, but nearly every piece of artwork has enough character to impress even the most skeptical visitor. Be sure to peruse the Museum Shop for works by local and regional artists. Rent an audio tour, which provides additional background information to 20 of the park's more popular sculptures.
