The spacious Jellystone Park Camp Resort sits in the heart of Wisconsin's cranberry country—right across from a marsh, in fact. And yes, cranberry products and themed items are available for purchase at the camp store.
The 100,000-square-foot water park is probably the campground’s most popular feature, sporting a lazy river, wave pool and splash zone. For a more natural water experience, there's also a small 5-foot-deep lake with plenty of space to splash around as well as in-water basketball hoops, swings and playground equipment. Across from the lake is an additional pond where visitors can putter around in paddleboats, and hidden in the woods is Big Blue, a 400-foot water slide that deposits riders into a pool near the front of the campground. For landlubbers, there are two mini-golf courses (one for kids 10 and under, the other for older folks), sand volleyball, dodgeball games, scavenger hunts, and an outdoor amphitheater for fresh-air movies and live performances.
Most of the 645 campsites are intended for RVs (standard sites from $49), although tent camping is certainly allowed. Jellystone also has more than 100 cabins to rent, ranging from tiny spots without running water to spacious villas that sleep up to 12 and feature a full kitchen and laundry facilities.
