The New Harmony Gallery of Contemporary Art is both an exhibition space and a boutique, each highlighting the work of local and regional artists. Although the gallery space was temporarily closed when we visited (for installation of the next exhibition), we enjoyed browsing the boutique, where artists sell their work on consignment. One highlight is the vibrant, modern paintings; this is not the place to pick up a watercolor landscape of New Harmony. The boutique also carries jewelry, sculptures, functional pottery items, and beautiful ribbons and wall hangings from local textile designer LFN Textiles.
