The Lodge at Geneva on the Lake offers bike rentals for a small fee, which is a pleasant way to reach Geneva State Park’s sandy swimming beach some 2miles away, but walking is free and easy when the weather cooperates. The paved path slopes gently down from the lodge to glide around a marina, through the woods and right up to the shores of Lake Erie.
This is definitely not hiking-level activity, but for leisurely exercise, this well-maintained path certainly does the job. We encountered a few bikers and a couple walking their dog (the lodge is pet-friendly). Otherwise, we had the path and the quiet sunny morning to ourselves.
