This three-story antiques store features a wide variety of goods from 10 Wisconsin dealers.
Three floors of antiques and collectibles await visitors at the Opera Hall Antique Center in downtown Lake Mills. Built in 1888, the historic building was previously an Odd Fellows Lodge with a first-floor opera house and civic center. One hundred years later, the antiques center opened, featuring 10 Wisconsin dealers selling antique linens, furniture, jewelry, dishes, glassware, sports memorabilia and a variety of other items. The selection changes regularly, of course, but on our visit we saw: an antique ice box ($700); children's tea sets ($110, $30); women's jackets, totes and handbags and children's dresses made from old linens ($25-$65); vintage hankies ($3); and cookie cutters ($2). Altogether, a fun place to browse if you're in Lake Mills, though not a destination in and of itself.
