Whether you knit or not, you'll love the pretty displays and welcoming classes.
We are not knitters, but on a snowy spring day, we couldn't help but tug open the front door of this downtown Fargo spot (the handle is wrapped in a knitted scarf of its own, naturally) and step inside. Immediately, the room, decked a pretty Tuscan orange on the walls, offers so many places to look. You can browse among the types of yarn for sale (stacked neatly in cupboards), admire handmade pieces on display throughout the boutique, check out handbags and other little items for sale, or see if one of the classes listed on the white board behind the register might be appealing. The staff, headed up by owner Sue Kuhn, is eager to make visitors feel at home, so you can settle into one of the comfy chairs and clack away (if you're a knitter) or just quietly browse, as we did. It's a fun addition to a bustling Broadway in downtown Fargo.
