Paradise Tropical Restaurant & Bar
Editor's Review
Sitting high up on a bluff overlooking the Lake of the Ozarks is Paradise, a tropical bar and restaurant. It started off as a small screened-in restaurant and recently expanded to include a second level and a large deck. The upside is the great view. The downside is that, if arriving by boat, you have to walk up several flights of stairs to get to the restaurant and the boat slips can be rough going on holidays. The menu has traditional favorites, like salads and burgers, and one or two unusual offerings, like a frog legs entree. There's also a breakfast buffet on weekends and holidays. After eating, stop in the small gift shop with clothing that has the Paradise logo. Sandwiches from $5.95, entrees from $12.95. Accessible by boat at mile marker 24.
