Although Main Street Books sells products for all ages, the highlight of this little independent book shop is the lofted children's area. Here, kids can perch at a pint-size table or flop in beanbag chairs to explore the world of literature in a space all their own. Downstairs, a fireplace and lots of comfy seating invite adults to settle in, too. The shop has two active book clubs, and the owner is happy to make suggestions for indecisive (or merely curious) book-lovers.
