Need a gnocchi paddle? If so, you can find one at Cornucopia. They have just about everything else you could want for the kitchen, too, as long as it doesn't plug in. You'll be charmed by this store's bright exterior -- in the garden on the walk up, pots double as flower containers, accented by multicolored whisks; the matching lids hang on the store's front wall. Another giant whisk hangs beneath the open sign. And you'll be befuddled, then thrilled, by the seemingly never-ending selection inside. The shop is packed to the gills with inventory: They really do have everything, and they have it in every color. It's well organized, though, and not messy, so that once you adjust, you'll simply be excited to see what's on hand. If there's a strange gadget you'd like -- say, a turtle that perches atop a pint glass to make pouring perfect black-and-tans easy -- Cornucopia likely has it or can get it for you. And the lines it carries are quality vendors, including Le Crescent, Emile Henry, Nordic Ware and Epicurean. One thing worth noting is that Cornucopia doesn't sell appliances you can find at the local department stores. They need the space to stock stuff you won't see anywhere else. Open weekdays and Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.; open Sundays from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Closed Tuesdays.
