A group of artists have taken over this storefront in the south part of downtown Champaign, right next to another longtime art space, the Old Vic Art Gallery. It's an attractive two-level space with brick walls painted white. The spacious gallery puts the focus on a couple of local artists at a time. By its nature, Indi Go does not have that wide a selection of art at any given time, but it's worth a quick look. Indi Go defines its philosophy as: "Visual space has essentially no owner." The co-op's mission is to provide space for emerging artists from the University of Illinois and the local community.The gallery hosts openings for its artists as well as other occasional events, such as musical performances.
