La Petite Creperie is a charming Provencal bistro in a Victorian home next to the Woodstock courthouse and jail. Intimate, high-backed beaded-board booths for two line the walls in the adjacent room where a small, busy bar services cocktails, espresso and cappuccino. La Petite Creperie's authentic French bistro menu lists 13 meal crepes, 10 sweet dessert crepes and monthly specials. Parlez vous "share?" There is nothing petite about the generous pillow-puffy crepes stuffed with delicious combinations and served on white oval platters. Seasonal ingredients from local purveyors are used. The sauteed chicken and goat cheese Pagnol crepe, $9.50, pairs well with a crisp glass of white wine ($7.50). An extensive French wine list changes every four months. Light, satisfying menu options include a cheese plate, pates and the nicoise salad loaded with olives, crunchy haricot verts and slivers of seared tuna ($14.95).
