Sandwiches at this local favorite come in two sizes--The Big One and The Huge One. People gladly wait in line for sandwiches heaped with up to a half-pound of fillings (including pastrami brought in from Brooklyn, chicken raised on Amish farms, Emmenthaler Swiss cheese and Katzinger's signature Russian dressing). Specialties include: Katzinger's Reuben, featuring hot corned beef on hand-sliced Jewish rye bread, or Janis' Special Can-Do, a smoked turkey breast and Muenster cheese combination on challah bread. Every sandwich is served with a pickle, and customers can fish their own out of old-time wood pickle barrels. Sandwich prices range from $6.95 to $12.50.
