Our favorite: brisket sandwich on perfectly squishy house-made white bread, with brown sugar baked beans and hot pepper corn bread. Also on the menu: jambalaya and keg rootbeer. Located in the Ingersoll Avenue shopping district, the storefront isn't much to look at. But the barbecue is top-notch.
