After 20 years on the Caribbean island, chef Josef Schwaiger brought his culinary talents to Rockford. This is the first restaurant in the United States for the Austrian-born chef, who also owns three restaurants on Barbados. His Rockford restaurant specializes in Barbados-style seafood dishes, with more than 15 fresh offerings every night. The menu includes fresh oysters and hand-rolled sushi, but the lamb and steak are just as delicious. Entrees range from $16 to $66.
