The Happy Greek restaurant is just a stone's throw from the Greater Columbus Convention Center, making it a convenient, festive venue for those heading out to explore the city. The restaurant specializes in all things Greek--hummus, Mousaka, lamb and seafood--along with some traditional American meals. A full-size bar serves up traditional and Greek beers and wines. Generous platters, which start around $10, range from gyros to fried smelt and come with sides of French fries or rice pilaf and Greek salad. We loved the tasty garlic dressing on the crisp salad. All in the all, the food is fresh and properly prepared and the service is friendly. Murals of Santorini and other Greek islands enhance the laid back atmosphere, making this a worthwhile stop in the area.
