Organic blueberries are all the fuss at this hidden gem outside of Galena. The farm has grown organic blueberries for more than 40 years, long before that was the trendy thing to do. In total, the owners have more than 300 acres, none of which have ever seen chemicals, and they harvest 2,000 quarts of blueberries annually. About a five-minute drive from town, up a long gravel road that winds into the woods, this spot would be easy to miss if you weren't looking for it. The blueberries are smaller than what you'd see in a supermarket and packed with about five times the flavor. In addition to blueberries, you'll find other fresh produce and local honey in the roomy, backwoodsy shop at the top of the driveway. The owner, who runs a sawmill on-site, also sells his wood crafts and furniture in the shop, along with antiques.
