If you come to Castle in the Country, you must realize that your destination is just that, a castle in the country. The nearest small town is more than 15 minutes away, and a larger town is twice that distance. The point of this remote spot is to turn off those phones and computers, but if you absolutely must, rest assured that you can get cell-phone reception and Wi-Fi throughout. The lodge sits on 65 wooded acres with a lake and a small pond. Paddle out in one of the boats or kayaks during the warm months, or strap on snowshoes for a winter walk in the woods.
