Nestled in a quiet neighborhood, the stunning Victorian home that is Habberstad House B&B is within an easy bike ride or stroll from downtown. Rooms to suit any taste include the vast Amish Suite to the somewhat sparse Orchid Room. We particularly liked the Scandinavian Suite, complete with pine floors, ironed linens and Nordic decor. If you're looking to hole up for the weekend, you may want to consider the carriage house with its spacious, clean Asian feel and private kitchen. The bedding is divine, the setting is private, and the bathroom comes with a huge whirlpool tub, walk-in shower, ceramic fountain and a good sound system. Breakfast selection varies. During our stay we enjoyed fruit and cream, crepes made with orange liqueur and drizzled with chocolate, Dutch apple Pannekoeken made with local eggs and local bacon on the side.
