Jelly Belly Warehouse, Pleasant Prairie Sample Jelly Bellies and take a 30-minute Jelly Belly trolley tour through the cavernous distribution center, off the I-94 Milwaukee/Chicago corridor near the state line. The free tour includes stops to watch large-screen videos of how the company makes candy corn, taffy and gummies as well as its signature jellybeans.

Kitchen and bath inspiration [5]

Kohler Design Center and Kohler Factory, Kohler Take a factory tour or explore the three-level design center. On the three-hour factory tour, for ages 14 and up, you'll see workers polish faucets and fire high-end toilets (left) as you learn about the manufacturing process and Kohler history. The 36,000-square-foot Design Center is a showcase for upscale, cutting-edge kitchen and bath products.

Simon Creek Vineyard and Winery, Door County North of Sturgeon Bay is the largest vineyard (left) in Wisconsin; free tours and tastings are available. For local flavor, try Simon Creek Cherry, made from Door County cherries.

MillerCoors Milwaukee Brewery Take a free, one-hour indoor-outdoor guided walking tour to see the steps of the brewing process (left). The brewery, one of the world's largest, is on land originally purchased by Miller founder Frederick J. Miller in 1855.

Harley-Davidson Factory, Milwaukee Arrive early to get tickets for a free one-hour tour of the famed motorcycle factory (left). You'll see powertrains being assembled and tested; visitors also get a chance to sit on the latest Harley-Davidson and Buell models.
