If you like, add a 6-ounce packages refrigerated cooked chicken strips to the macaroni and cheese recipe when you add the pasta.
You can purchase cream puffs from your local bakery. (Call ahead to special order cream puffs if your bakery doesn’t carry them.) Fill the cream puffs with ice cream and top with whipped cream, chocolate-flavored syrup and a maraschino cherry for a special, but very quick dessert.
2 cups whipping cream
1 package fresh rosemary
1 8-ounce package dried radiatore or rigatoni pasta
3-ounce package cream cheese
1 package peeled baby carrots
1 container desired-flavor refrigerated dip
6 cream puffs
1 quart desired-flavor ice cream
1 can pressurized whipped topping
1 bottle chocolate-flavored syrup
1 jar maraschino cherries
1/2 gallon fat-free or lowfat milk
kosher salt (or use 1/2 the amount of regular salt)
peppercorns (or use ground black pepper)
measuring cups and spoons
kitchen scissors for snipping herb
ice cream scoop
