Hot Sub Sandwich
loaf brown-and-serve French or Italian bread
sliced cheese (choose from American, cheddar and/or Swiss)
thinly sliced deli meat (choose from turkey, ham, roast beef or chicken)
Ranch salad dressing or other creamy salad dressing.
Bake the bread according to package directions. Cook slightly.
Slice the baked loaf of bread in half horizontally and arrange the cheese on bottom half of bread. Arrange the deli meat over the cheese.
Place the top half of the bread on the sandwich. Return to oven and bake about 5 minutes more or until the cheese melts. Remover sandwich from the oven and cool slightly.
Slice sandwich into quarters. Serve warm. Pass the salad dressing to use as a dipping sauce or to drizzle over meat.
