Tagliatelle A La Hudson

Lemon and prosciutto flavor this easy pasta dish. It can be on the table in just 25 minutes.
finely shredded lemon peel
unsalted butter, softened
fresh or dried tagliatelle or fettuccine
whipping cream, heated
prosciutto, cut into strips
fresh-grated Parmesan cheese
In a small bowl, combine the lemon peel and softened butter; set aside. Cook the pasta in boiling, salted water just until tender; drain.
Transfer the pasta to a warm serving bowl. Add the lemon butter and warm cream. Toss gently to coat. Add the prosciutto. Serve pasta sprinkled with grated Parmesan cheese. Makes 6 servings.
