Easy Potato Soup

thinly sliced carrots
In a saucepan, cook carrots and onion in butter for 6 minutes.
Stir in the potatoes. Slowly stir in enough milk for a medium-thick soup.
Add some salt and pepper; heat. Makes 4 to 6 side-dish servings.
