Readers' Choice winner: Daybreak
For the 2010 My Midwest photo contest, Midwest Living® readers submitted thousands of inspirational photos illustrating the essence of the Midwest. Month by month, the editors sifted through shots and selected those that best celebrated the heart of the heartland.
In January 2011, readers voted on their favorite shot from the five finalists selected by editors; editors named an Editors' Choice winner as well. At left, the Readers' Choice winner.
