Isle Royale National Park, Michigan
"Isle Royale National Park has been a family favorite for at least three generations. We love to hike and be in the wilderness. It is a place of beauty and peace. We like it because it isn't a typical vacation place for people to go. We've enjoyed listening to a wolf pack howl and waking up to a moose grazing in the stream beside our lean-to.
"On our last trip, [we spent] two weeks hiking and relaxing. It was by far the most physical and mentally demanding adventure I've ever done, and I've traveled to the middle of the jungle in Indonesia.
