Leaf-and-Acorn Theme

Red and green aren't essential for a holiday look. Russet, copper, sage and gold create the foundation for this seasonal motif of leaves and acorns. The complementary colors also allow you to highlight your table from Thanksgiving throughout the holiday season.

The embossed salad plate stars on a hammered-copper charger. Fray (or buy) linen napkins and stamp them with acorn and leaf shapes (you can buy the stamps at crafts stores). Use painted wooden acorns as accents.
