The Showcase Home

Inside, this showcase home is as friendly as a warm handshake and sincere as a hug.

Grand Staircase

The central staircase, with its hand-carved newel posts, commands immediate attention.

Parlor

Beadboard wainscoting, cozy fireplaces, and comfy window seats are just some of the home's details. Niches and cutouts frame views of the main floor area from the living room. The interior spaces all flow naturally to the inviting rural landscape that awaits outdoors.

Library

The library, tucked behind the living room, opens to the deck via French doors. Built-ins; cherry-stained, 1/4-inch birch-plywood paneling; and deep, wide ledges create a handsome retreat.

Dining Room

Dining chairs in a light, natural finish combine with plaid-upholstered host chairs and a beveled glass tabletop to create a look of understated elegance.

Kitchen

The L-shaped kitchen island accommodates food preparation, quick snacks, or assorted projects. Built into the island are a cooktop/grill, trash compactor, and separate work sink.

Great Room

The great room, which adjoins the kitchen, offers cushy seating and playful accents.

Master Suite

The master suite occupies its own mini wing on the main floor. The suite shows off all the home's architectural charm--vaulted ceilings, private niches, and wide French doors, as well as some lavish touches of its own.

Master Bath

The bath area includes two dressing closets and an enclosed commode. A quilt-patterne "area rug"--created from ceramic tiles--covers the bath floor.

Girl's Bedroom

An equestrian theme dominates the girl's bedroom. Each bedroom opens into its own private vanity and commode area, and each has a separate access to the tub/shower room.

Guest Bedroom

A guest room with private bath ensures return visits from friends. All of the family bedrooms feature spacious walk-in clothes closets.

Deck

Handled as bonus living space, the deck spans the entire rear of the home.
