4 Basics

Shape and Form Curvy forms repeated in the various items on this table help pull together the mix of varied shapes and textures.

Balance By placing pairs on equal sides of the centered wall plant holder, this vignette is visually balanced.

Color The unifying element of every "tablescape" is color. Here, checks and toiles in red and white create a cohesive arrangement.

Scale "Light" items such as the thin candlestick lamps, the mini suitcase and the spindly geraniums are the right "weight" or scale for this small table.
