Opt for flexibility
Idea Home: The third second-floor bedroom, comfortably outfitted for snuggling up with a book, serves as a "place of her own" for Melissa now, but offers design flexibility as a future nursery. The second bath upstairs (next slide) will accommodate guests, but it also has the whirlpool tub the Luebbes wanted.
Your home: Focus on what you would like now, but adapt your furniture choices, placement and decor as your family and needs change.
