Test Kitchen Tips:
To save time, use purchased roasted chicken, remove the skin, and use 2 forks to shred. Or, use refrigerated grilled chicken strips (use them whole or chop the strips, if you like).
For a quick salad, top mixed salad greens with mandarin oranges. Top with your favorite dressing.
Visit the local bakery for whole wheat dinner rolls, or use one of the many convenience products available, such as frozen heat-and-eat rolls.
To toast almonds, place them in a shallow baking pan and bake in a 350 degree F oven for 5 to 7 minutes, stirring once.
