I have a husband that does not eat a lot of salt. I simply substitute with low sodium products or don't add the extra salt in the recipe. I have been able to substitute in a majority of the recipes. Also, for low-fat recipes, just follow the recipe except substitute the low-fat alternatives where possible. Good Luck
