Pulled Pork Sandwiches with Tangy Curry-Tomato Chutney

  • Maple-Apple Pudding Bake

Test Kitchen Tip:

Mixed green salads are so easy with the assortment of packaged mixed greens that are available in the produce section of the grocery store. Some even come with a dressing packet inside. Make sure you buy enough for 8 for this menu. Plan on about 2 cups greens per person, or about 2 16-ounce packages.

Shopping List:

For Pork

  • 3 to 3 1/2 pounds boneless pork shoulder
  • 8 large or 16 small buns
  • 3 medium tomatoes
  • 2 red or purple plums
  • 1 bunch green onions
  • 1 fresh Scotch bonnet or jalapeno chile pepper
  • 1 lemon or lime
  • 1 head leaf lettuce (optional)
  • 2 16-ounce packages torn mixed salad greens
  • 1 bottle desired-flavor salad dressing (if none in greens package)
  • 1 1/2-gallon fat-free or lowfat milk

For Dessert

  • 1 bottle maple syrup
  • 1 pound butter
  • 2 medium apples
  • 1 8-ounce whipping cream
