Asian Pork Tenderloin & Berry Cobbler

Light soy sauce and toasted sesame seeds give this pork tenderloin recipe a classic Asian flavor.

Light soy sauce and toasted sesame seeds give this pork tenderloin recipe a classic Asian flavor. Serve with steamed Chinese long beans on the side. And since fruit goes so well with pork, we suggest offering this scrumptious berry cobbler for dessert made with ripe berries in the peak of their season. A perfect way to end the meal!

Your Menu: Serves 4

Pork Tenderloin Perfection

  • Steamed Chinese long beans or green beans

Double Berry Cobbler

  • Iced green tea

Test Kitchen Tips:

Chinese long beans can be found year-round in most Asian markets and some supermarkets with specialty produce sections. Be careful not to overcook these as they will get mushy. To steam, place the beans in a steamer basket set in a large saucepan with boiling water (the water should come to just below the bottom of the basket). Cover and steam for 5 minutes for long beans or 10 to 15 minutes for green beans or until crisp-tender.

For iced green tea for 4, steep 4 green tea bags in 1 quart boiling water for 3 minutes. Remove and discard tea bags and chill the tea. Sweeten to taste and serve over ice. If desired, add 1 or 2 slices of fresh ginger to the water with the tea bags; remove and discard with the tea bags.

To toast sesame seeds, spread them out in a shallow baking pan. Bake in a 350° oven for 5 to 10 minutes or until toasted, shaking the pan once or twice.
