New Year's Eve Appetizer Party
The year flew by and it is time to celebrate a new one. These appetizers will be the prefect nibbles to bring in the New Year.

Baked Brie with Fruit
Mediterranean Eight-Layered Dip
- Cream cheese topped with jalapeno jelly
- Assorted crackers and potato chips
- Assorted carbonated beverages and beer

Test Kitchen Tips:
Prepare the Brie recipe twice to have enough for 12.
Be sure to soften the cream cheese before serving for easier spreading. To soften, let it stand at room temperature for 30 minutes or unwrap cream cheese and place on a microwave-safe plate; cook for 15 seconds or until softened.

- 2 8-ounce rounds Brie cheese
- 1 jar orange marmalade
- 1 package sliced almonds, hazelnuts or pecans
- 1 yellow apple or pear
- 1 loaf French bread
- 2 packages assorted crackers
- 2 large packages potato chips
- 2 8-ounce packages cream cheese
- 1 jar jalapeno jelly
- 36 assorted carbonated beverages and beer
For Eight-Layered Dip
- 1 15- or 16-ounce can garbanzo beans
- 1 jar tahini or peanut butter and 1 bottle sesame oil
- 2 lemons
- 1 head garlic
- 1 12-ounce jar roasted red sweet peppers
- 1 jar kalamata olives
- 1 bunch fresh basil
- 1 jar capers
- 1 package fresh oregano
- 2 medium tomatoes
- 1 cucumber
- 1 bunch parsley
- 1 package fresh mint
- 1 package (12) pita bread rounds
- 1 package fresh spinach
- 4 ounces feta or goat cheese
- 1 bunch green onions
