Test Kitchen Tips:

Make brownies up to 3 days ahead. Store in an airtight container at room temperature.

To toast walnuts for brownies, spread in a shallow baking pan. Bake in a 350 degree F oven for 8 to 10 minutes or until toasted, stirring or shaking pan once.

  • Tea bags or 1, 12-ounce can frozen lemonade concentrate

  • 1 pound butter
  • 1 8-ounce package unsweetened chocolate
  • 1 package cake flour (or use all-purpose flour)
  • 1 dozen eggs
  • 1 package walnut pieces
