Shopping List

  • 1-1/2 to 2 pounds fresh or frozen boneless, skinless walleye, lake trout, tilapia, or sole fillets (1/2 to 3/4 inch thick)
  • two 12-ounce cans beer
  • 1 container shortening or 1 bottle cooking oil
  • 1 bottle rice vinegar
  • 1 bottle fish sauce (optional)
  • 1 head garlic
  • 1 bottle Asian chili sauce with garlic (or use crushed red pepper)
  • 1 mango
  • 1 red, green, or yellow sweet pepper
  • 1 bunch green onions
  • 24-ounce package frozen oven-fried potato wedges
  • 1/2 dozen purchased brownies
  • 12-pack desired carbonated beverages
