Short on time? Make this recipe quicker by substituting purchased frozen cooked meatballs in the sauce recipe. Make sure you thaw them in the refrigerator before adding to the sauce.

Wrap and store the bread in a cool, dry place up to 3 days or freeze for longer storage. We don't recommend storing bread in the refrigerator as it can dry it out.

  • 1 loaf soft bread (for crumbs)

  • 1 package amaretti cookies
