Geri's Tomato Tart

Art Director Geri Boesen swears that Iowa tomatoes qualify as nectar of the gods. "When I was growing up on my family's farm" she recalls, "we'd pick them and eat them right there in the middle of the garden." She teams tomatoes with basil, her other favorite summer ingredient, for this cheesy tart.
