Beans and Ham Hocks

"What makes these beans so good is the butter being cooked in from the get-go," explains Christy Thurman of Grandma's Beans and Cornbread in Eureka Springs, Arkansas. This recipe comes from her restaurant. The five ingredients slow-cook to a savory, saucy main dish. We like it topped with a little cheddar and sour cream, too.
