To toast pine nuts, place them in a shallow baking pan. Bake in a 350 degrees F oven for 5 to 8 minutes or until golden, stirring and checking frequently to prevent overbrowning.

  • 1 jar coarse-grain brown mustard
  • 2 9-ounce packages frozen chopped cooked chicken, thawed
  • 1 bunch celery
  • 1 bunch green onions
  • 1 jar or package pine nuts
  • 1 bunch parsley
  • 1 jar oil-packed dried tomatoes
  • 1 package (4) croissants or 1 loaf sourdough bread
  • 1 honeydew or cantaloupe melon

  • salt
  • ground black pepper
