These recipes can be made ahead so you can enjoy a lazy summer afternoon visiting with friends.

Shrimp Marinated with Artichokes and Tomatoes

Test Kitchen Tip:
For an easy crostini, toast baguette-style French bread slices in a 375 degree oven for 10 minutes. Remove and cool. Store in an airtight container up to 24 hours. To serve, spread with dried tomato and/or basil pesto.

For Shrimp
- 2 6-ounce jars or 1, 12-ounce jar marinated artichoke hearts
- 1-1/2 pounds cooked, peeled and deveined shrimp
- 1 pint yellow or red pear-shaped, cherry, or grape tomatoes
- 3 lemons
- 1 bunch fresh basil
- 1 shallot or onion
- 1 bottle minced garlic (or use 2 fresh cloves)
- 1 loaf baguette-style French bread
- 1 jar purchased dried tomato pesto and/or 1 jar purchased basil pesto
- 1 12-ounce can frozen lemonade concentrate
- 1 container fresh raspberries
For Pavlova
- 1 dozen eggs
- 1 bottle raspberry vinegar
- 1 8-ounce carton whipping cream
- 3 containers fresh raspberries, 6 kiwi fruit, and/or 3 mangoes
