You can prepare the potatoes for the Farmer's Breakfast recipe ahead of time. Cook the sliced potatoes according to the recipe and drain off cooking liquid. Cover and chill potatoes for up to 24 hours.
Here's a great tip for slicing cinnamon rolls. Use clean kitchen string or clean unflavored dental floss to cut the dough roll into slices. Hold the ends of the string while placing the center of the string under the dough roll. Cross the ends of the string and pull to slice the dough. Or, use a very sharp knife to cut the dough.
