Test Kitchen Tips:
To avoid last minute preparations, make the Sour Cream Coffee Cake the day ahead. Wrap and store at room temperature. Reheat, if you like, wrapped in foil in a 350° F. oven for 15 to 20 minutes or until warm.
To make things even easier, use a hollandaise sauce mix and stir in snipped fresh basil after preparing according to the package.
For an easy Breakfast Nog, use a blender to combine 1 1/2 cups buttermilk, 1/2 of a 6-ounce can frozen orange juice concentrate, 2 tablespoons packed brown sugar, and 1 teaspoon vanilla. Blend in ice cubes until frothy.
