Test Kitchen Tip:
The chocolate sauce for the sundae will store in the refrigerator up to 1 week. It's also good drizzled over angel food cake slices.
Shopping List:
For Meat Loaf
- 1 carton refrigerated or frozen egg product or 1 dozen eggs
- 1 package saltine crackers
- 1 onion
- 1 bottle reduced-sodium ketchup or ketchup
- 1 package onion soup mix
- 1 pound lean ground beef
- 1/2 pound ground turkey
- 6 medium potatoes
- 6 medium carrots
- 1 14-ounce can reduced sodium beef broth
- 1 small head cabbage
- 1 lemon
For Sundae
- 1 6- or 12-ounce container frozen apple juice or white grape juice concentrate
- 1 container unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1 bottle honey
- 1 pint low-fat frozen yogurt (desired flavor)
- 1 container fresh strawberries, blueberries, and/or pears
- 1 package fresh mint
