Test Kitchen Tip: Partially freezing beef steaks about 45 minutes makes before slicing, makes it easier to slice in to very thin strips. Remember to always wash cutting boards used for slicing uncooked meat in hot soapy water before using to chop fresh vegetables to avoid possible bacterial contamination. Or, better yet, have 2 separate cutting boards, one for meat, one for produce.
